Early Moari Enterprise

Mao-ri were the first to ex-change i-tems. Mao-ri tra-ded with ha-pu and iwi. They al-so cr-ea-ted mar-kets of food. Wha-nau would al-so make kai-moa-na. Mao-ri star-ted ex-chan-ging years ago.

This week for inquiry we were learning about early Maori enterprise and economics. In small groups our task was to write a summary of our learning in five sentences. After we had done that we had a challenge to make each of the five sentences have exactly 10 syllables. That part was hard because you had to try and find words that fitted in with the number of syllables, but it was really fun too.
