Hallo Taheesha,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mani and I am going to be joining you on the Summer Learning Journey as a blog commenter. I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020.
This year I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs, especially because I had the pleasure of visiting your school over the past few weeks and meeting you and the rest of the class! Say hello to Mrs Anderson and the class for me by the way!! I am really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends. I also love to exercise and write songs in my spare time. I see you love to sing, what song is your favorite to sing right now? At the moment I have been singing a lot of Christmas songs from Michael Buble’s Christmas album!
Well done on completing your first activity for the Summer learning journey. I think it is super cool that you have shared so much about your German culture! I had the pleasure of staying in Germany for 4 months and I can gladly say that grilled sausage was my favourite food to eat there too. I remember there was a traditional german dish I tried that looked like cabbage, do you know what it might be called? Anyways, I appreciate the effort you have put into your slides because I have just learnt a few more facts about Germany because of you. :)
Also don't forget to attribute your images. This is when you say where you got your photos from.We give out full marks when you attribute your photos!
Here is the link if you don't know how.

I look forward to reading more of your blog posts Taheesha, keep up the good work! :)
Thank you,
Mani
Hi Taheesha! That's so cool you can express your cultural background and you know so much about it. My favorite part of your presentation was the 4 facts, especially the last one. 83 Million people..wow that's amazing! If you went to Germany, what would be the first thing you did? Maybe spend time with family over there? Well done!
ReplyDeleteHi Taheesha,
ReplyDeleteI liked how you provided lots of interesting facts about Germany, its population, your favourite traditional meal and how many celebrations there are. Would you want to live in Germany?
Hey Taheesha!
ReplyDeleteI liked the DLO you created as you added 4 interesting facts about Germany. Have you been to Germany before? If you haven't would you like to go?
Blog you later!
