Day 4| Activity 1: Individual Pursuits


For this activity of  Day 4 activity 1 of SLJ, We listed 3 things we learnt while watching the videos of  Serena and Venus Williams.who are both tennis players. Those are the 3 things I learnt while watching the two videos of Serena and Venus Williams.

I like how the first one is kind of a motivational statement, because I know that Venus and Serena really encourage and endorse that. Keep it up!

    What do you think about the pay difference between men and women? I'm curious to know what you think.

    According to reports, the Williams sisters started training at the age of three years old!

  4. Hi Taheesha,
    I found it interesting that you think there's a pay gap between men and women in sports. In fact, the only reason women are paid less than men is not because they're sexist, it's because people would prefer to watch men play sport. That's why men's rugby, football, and pretty much any contact sport has a higher salary for men.
